Revalidate
Projects are faced with daily uncertainty and decisions. We
believe that decisions need to be continually revisited and validated against
the needs of the project’s schedule, budget, and milestone dates.
Brainville, Inc. approaches the project by regularly revisiting the project charter to ensure we
are making decisions that support the project’s
objectives. Through a rapid yet
thorough evaluation of key project documents and the project’s documented
history, Brainville, Inc. analyzes what is necessary and what has been hindering the project's
progress.
To ensure that the project moves forward
consistently, Brainville, Inc. undertakes a review of the requirements,
what is needed to meet those requirements, and how the deliverables to
date have met (or missed) those requirements. In
conjunction with the client, Brainville, Inc. determines whether previous
project phases require additional effort to provide the foundation for moving
forward. Where necessary,
Brainville, Inc. may recommend additional effort be expended on deliverables to
meet the requirements. In addition,
Brainville, Inc. may recommend that additional deliverables be
incorporated to meet the business requirements.
Revalidation serves to focus the
organization on what is to be accomplished moving forward while minimizing
rework. We believe projects may need
some creative redirection but rarely require a complete restart.
