Revalidate
Projects are faced with uncertainty and
require decisions on a day to day basis. We
believe that decisions need to be continually revisited and validated against
the needs of the project’s schedule, budget, and milestone dates.
Brainville, Inc. approaches the project by
revisiting the project charter to ensure we accomplish the project’s
objectives. Through a rapid yet
thorough evaluation of the key project documents and the project’s
chronological history, Brainville, Inc. determines what is necessary and what
may be hindering the project to meet its goals.
To ensure that the project moves forward on
a solid foundation, Brainville, Inc. undertakes a review of the requirements,
what is needed to meet those requirements, and assesses how the deliverables to
date have met those requirements. In
conjunction with the client, Brainville, Inc. determines whether previous
project phases require additional effort to provide a solid foundation for the
subsequent phases. Where necessary,
Brainville, Inc. may recommend additional effort be expended on deliverables to
meet the requirements. In addition,
Brainville, Inc. may recommend that additional well defined deliverables be
incorporated to meet key business requirements.
Revalidation serves to focus the
organization on what is to be accomplished moving forward while minimizing
rework. We believe projects may need
some redirection but rarely require a full restart.
